Privacy Policy
65Medias (“we”, “us”) operates the INVOX GST billing application available at https://65medias.in/invox/. This policy explains what information INVOX collects, how it is stored, and the choices you have. We keep this deliberately plain-spoken, because billing data is sensitive.
1. Information we collect
a) Information you give us
- Mobile number — used to sign you in via OTP and to identify your subscription.
- Business profile — business name, address, GSTIN, PAN, bank details and logo that you enter for printing on invoices.
- Business records you create — invoices, quotations, purchase bills, customers, suppliers, products, stock, payments and expenses.
b) Information collected automatically
- Sign-in timestamps and a device identifier, used to show you your login history and to prevent account misuse.
- Basic technical data required to deliver the app (for example, browser type), handled by our hosting and authentication providers.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any data unrelated to billing.
2. How your data is stored
- On your device. INVOX is an offline-capable web app. Your working records are stored in your own browser so that billing continues even without internet.
- In the cloud. When cloud sync is enabled, a copy is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore & Firebase Authentication), operated by Google LLC on Google Cloud infrastructure.
- Isolation. Cloud records are keyed to your mobile number and protected by server-side security rules, so one subscriber cannot read or modify another subscriber’s data.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the app: generate invoices, reports and GST summaries.
- To authenticate you (OTP) and manage your subscription and renewals.
- To provide support when you contact us, and to send service messages about your plan.
We do not sell, rent or trade your data. We do not use your customer lists or invoice data for advertising.
4. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database and hosting infrastructure.
- Netlify — website and application hosting.
- Government authorities — only where we are legally required to do so.
Where you choose to share an invoice over WhatsApp, that transmission is handled by WhatsApp under its own policies.
5. Your responsibilities as a business user
If you store your customers’ details in INVOX, you remain the owner and controller of that information. You are responsible for collecting it lawfully and for the accuracy of the tax details you enter on invoices.
6. Security
- Sign-in is by one-time password (OTP) — there is no password to leak.
- Cloud data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypted at rest by our infrastructure provider.
- Access to cloud records is restricted by per-account security rules.
No system is perfectly secure. Keep your mobile device and SIM secure, since OTP access depends on them.
7. Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that you can renew without losing records. You may ask us to delete it sooner — see our Data Deletion Policy.
8. Your rights
- Access and export your data at any time from within the app.
- Correct any information you have entered.
- Request deletion of your account and cloud data.
- Withdraw from cloud sync and keep records on your device only.
9. Children
INVOX is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.
